Man shot dead near Morningside and Sheppard, Toronto police say

A 29-year-old man is dead following a shooting in Scarborough Sunday evening, Toronto police say.

Police responded to reports of a shooting on Bradworthy Court, near Morningside Avenue and Sheppard Avenue at around 6:15 p.m and found a man with life-threatening injuries.

He was rushed to hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.

There is no word yet on suspect information.

Police are on scene investigating.
